Kandahar is a family club founded in the mid-1950s by Ethel and Gordon Robson and their friends. Over the years, the initial small group of members married, had children, and now Kandahar has four generations of families. The club’s prime location is thanks to the vision and hard work of the pioneering founding members. It started as a small lodge that members had to hike to, carrying their own gear and supplies.
